PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR
Hours:
Day Shift: 6AM - 6PM
Night Shift 6PM - 6AM
Works 3 days one week, 4 days the next week Location: Waynesboro, MSPay: $29-33/hrPOSITION OVERVIEWA leading manufacturer in the crop protection industry is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to lead production operations at its Waynesboro, MS facility.This role is responsible for ensuring production plans are achieved while maintaining safe, compliant operations and high-quality products. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who can coach and develop a production team, establish structure through SOPs and work instructions, identify bottlenecks, and drive continuous improvement.WHAT YOU’LL DO• Lead and supervise a team of production employees to achieve production targets, safety KPIs, and quality standards.• Plan and organize production schedules to ensure on-time delivery while minimizing waste and downtime.• Enforce safety guidelines and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.• Monitor inventory levels and ensure efficient use of materials and resources.• Train new employees on production procedures, safety protocols, and quality standards.• Coach employees, conduct performance evaluations, and provide feedback to support continuous improvement and development.• Work closely with Engineering, Maintenance, and Quality Assurance to resolve production issues and improve processes.• Identify bottlenecks, process improvements, and cost-reduction opportunities.• Implement improvements designed to increase productivity, efficiency, and profitability.• Maintain accurate production records and reports, including output, downtime, and quality metrics.• Monitor performance, communicate deficiencies and action items, and provide timely updates to management.• Communicate effectively with production teams and leadership to ensure alignment on goals and priorities.WHAT YOU’LL BRINGRequired:• 3+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, coach, and develop direct reports.• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.• Understanding of manufacturing safety regulations and best practices.• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.Preferred:• Associate’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.• Knowledge of ISO and Lean Manufacturing principles.• Experience with continuous improvement methodologies.• Familiarity with production scheduling software and ERP systems.WHY JOIN?• Lead a production team in an established crop protection manufacturing environment.• Have a direct impact on safety, quality, productivity, and operational performance.• Work closely with Engineering, Maintenance, and Quality teams to improve manufacturing processes.• Opportunity to drive continuous improvement and efficiency initiatives while developing and coaching a production team.Type: Direct HireCategory: ManufacturingDate Posted: 2026-09-28
